FAQ

Questions are part of
good healthcare navigation.

The important stuff should be easy to find: what Clea does, what it does not do, how providers are shown, how AI is used and who can see your information.

About Clea
What is Clea?+

Clea is a healthcare navigation product for people trying to work out what to do next with migraine care. It organises information you provide, helps you compare provider stated information and lets you choose whether to hand selected context to a participating clinic.

Is Clea a medical service?+

Clea is not a replacement for your GP, neurologist or emergency care. It does not diagnose conditions or prescribe or recommend treatment.

Why migraine first?+

Migraine is a high-friction specialist-care journey with many different presentations, services, referral pathways and access questions. Clea is focusing on making that one journey excellent before expanding.

Your Care Profile
What goes into my Care Profile?+

Your care goal, self-reported symptoms, previous care, pathways you are trying to access, referral status and practical preferences such as location and telehealth.

Does Clea infer a diagnosis from my symptoms?+

No. Symptoms remain self-reported information. Clea uses them as context for navigation, not as a diagnosis.

Can I update my profile?+

Yes. Your Care Profile is designed to be updated as your situation, preferences or care journey changes.

Finding care
How are providers shown?+

Clea applies practical filters to provider stated or verified information such as pathway, age group, location, telehealth and services. Commercial payment does not buy a clinical ranking.

Can I search for Botox, CGRP or vestibular migraine care?+

Yes as navigation intents. Clea can show providers who state that they handle those pathways. A qualified clinician determines whether a treatment or service is appropriate for you.

What if Clea has no provider for my pathway yet?+

Clea will not manufacture a match. You can change practical filters, ask Clea Concierge for navigation help or use external healthcare service finders while the verified network grows.

AI, humans and safety
What can Clea Concierge answer?+

Practical navigation questions: provider types, referral logistics, pathway explanations, what to ask a clinic and how Clea works.

What can the AI not answer?+

It does not diagnose, interpret symptoms as proving a condition, prescribe treatment or tell you which medication or procedure to use.

When does a human get involved?+

AI is the default navigation layer. If it cannot resolve a practical question safely, you can send the same question and your Clea context to human support without starting again.

What if I have sudden or severe symptoms?+

Clea is not urgent care. The intake starts with a safety check. If you have a sudden severe headache or concerning neurological symptoms, seek urgent medical assessment. In Australia call 000 for an emergency or healthdirect on 1800 022 222 if you are unsure what level of care you need.

Privacy and clinics
Does a clinic see my profile automatically?+

No. A clinic receives selected Care Profile information only after you explicitly request a handoff to that provider.

Can clinics pay to appear first?+

No. Clinic billing is separate from provider ordering and does not buy a 'best provider' position.

Are provider reviews public?+

Clea's planned verified experience feedback focuses on non clinical factors such as booking clarity, communication and information accuracy. Treatment, diagnosis and health-outcome testimonials are not used to market providers.

STILL NOT SURE?

Start with what you know. Clea can organise the rest.
